Moore Middle School
Families are invited to attend a Parent Information Session hosted by CISD's Gifted and Talented services. The session will be Tuesday, Sept. 22 from 6 to 7 p.m. at Moore Middle School.
Referral Window
The window to request your child be tested for the Gifted & Talented program is from October 5-16, 2026.
Kinder
Referred students will be given the CogAT test February 1-11, 2027. Parents are notified of the results in late Feb. Students will begin servies
March 1, 2027.
1st, 3rd-6th
Referred students will be given the CogAT test November 9-20, 2026. Parents are notified of the results the end of Dec. Students will begin services in January 2027.
2nd
All 2nd grade students will be given the CogAT test November 2-4, 2026. Parents are notified of the results the end of Dec. Students will begin services in January 2027.
7th-11th
Referred students will be given the CogAT test December 7-11, 2026. Parents are notified of the results the end of Dec. Students will begin services in January 2027.
